Children's Books

They will chew on them. They will drool on them. They will tear the pages out and make them into paper airplanes. Why would you spend more than a dollar or two on them???

Like most kids, my son loves books. Like most parents, I want him to have access to as many books as possible.

Here's how I score them without going broke...

1. Post a wish list on freecycle.com or craigslist

2. Buy large lots on Ebay (check shipping costs before you bid)

3. Ask friends for hand-me-downs

There are other options as well for those who are past the chewing, drooling, and tearing stage. Most schools offer a book exchange shelf. Don't have one at your school? Start one! There is even an on-line book exchange for homeschoolers.
